Frequently Asked Questions

Only major issues are covered as Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs). A question format simply does not lend itself well to alphabetic search organization. Help and instruction by category is best found in the Contents tab section of the Help Screen.

  1. I'm afraid I'll click a button & find I made a reservation by accident - can that happen?

    Relax, the final making and cancelling of a reservation is ALWAYS preceded by a pop-up message that lets you know you are about to do this (and let you change your mind). Also, at the top right of the screen, there is a Reservation Tracker that shows you what step you are on. This Tracker will show you the number of steps in ALL tasks (reservation, cancel, user profile, etc.) and which step you are on. We want this to be a No Surprise experience! Button on the hotel website, I see references to this name.

    When you make a reservation through this web site, you will be seamlessly linked to a website maintained by UNIREZ, Inc., from its offices in Grapevine, Texas. UNIREZ is one of the three largest third-party providers of reservations services to the hotel industry. Our hotel clients use UNIREZ to provide you with the ability to check the latest rates and room availabilities, and to then book rooms and receive immediate confirmations.

     

     

  2. I entered something wrong on a reservation to arrive the same day - & the cancel policy says I have to give 24 hours notice to cancel without penalty. What do I do?

    If this happens, you most likely have caught the mistake on the Confirm Reservation screen. Click the Cancel Reservation button and re-enter the reservation with the correct information. If you realize the error within 10 minutes and are not on that screen, you may retrieve & cancel the reservation using the Confirm or Cancel button (under the Oops-Proof Policy).

  3. How do I change information (dates, room types, etc.) in a completed & confirmed reservation?

    Currently, you have to cancel that reservation and make a new one to reflect the changes you need to make. We are working on the process that will allow you to make changes to the reservation without having to cancel it.

  4. Why take the time to setup a User Profile? What will I use it for? Does it mean I'll get junk email?

    No junk mail for sure (not from us anyway). Actually there are a couple of good reasons: (1) It will save you time whenever you book a reservation with this hotel (or for any other hotel using the Unirez booking connection (UZbook). (2) Secondly, and perhaps even more importantly, having this information quickly and correctly entered in your online reservation will save you time at check-in. You won't have to provide your address, phone number, etc. - it's already done, getting you into your room faster.

  5. What is Unirez? After clicking the Reservations
  6. How can I cancel a reservation I made to arrive the same day?

    Cancel the reservation in the same fashion you made the reservation. If you booked a room from a travel site, return to the travel site and follow cancel procedures noted on the site. If you booked a room from a travel agent, have the travel agent cancel the booking. Considering the reservation is for the same day, we do suggest that you follow up with a phone call to the hotel directly to advise them of the cancel.
